For PCP & ESP applications, high-turbulent and high-producing wells—especially those with any acids, sand, or solid content—will erode away non-treated pup joints in a very short time. This leads to disruptions at the pump discharge and inefficiencies throughout the “trouble areas” of the well. BOROCOAT® technology creates an extremely hard single phase Iron-Boride layer on the surface that drastically improves abrasion resistance, creating ease of flow and less cavitation at the pump discharge.
