BOROCOAT®

Boronizing improves the surface hardness and wear resistance of pipes, pipe joints and accessories. Creating an extremely hard iron boride layer on the surface dramatically reduces the coefficient of friction, resulting in easier flow and less cavitation at the pump outlet. In addition, the boride layer provides extreme wear protection – especially in deviated wells where rod movement can cause wear and holes can form in the pipe walls.
